The Tack of the Jib shoulb be as close to the deck as possible. Use a short, straight shackle to reduce the height off the deck.

Also note the shock cord dead-ending at the bow. This is part of the Spinnaker pole foreguy setup. It is lead to a turning block at the base of the mast and up to the topping lift hook. It also doubles as a tie-down for the jib when it is on deck.
